Katerina Zacharopoulou was born in Athens in 1958. Studies in the Visual Arts, art theory and educational methods in Athens and Paris.    Her work has been featured in 15 individual and 20 group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, Chicago, Washington, France, among them the Centre of contemporary art Thessaloniki in 2011, the Athens Biennale in 2013, the Benaki Museum in 2017, the Thessaloniki Biennial in 2017, the  Οnassis Cultural Centre Athens  in 2017.  Works of hers are in the collections of the STATE MUSEUM of CONTEMPORARY ART (Thessaloniki), Dakis Joannou Collection, Dimitris Daskalopoulos collection, George Economou collection CAP Collection etc. Katerina Zacharopoulou has created the broadcast ERA of IMAGES in ERT, which curates and presents Since 2003, forming a rare archive. She has curated  educational programmes in museums, collections and institutions in Greece and abroad
