Michalis Makroulakis was born in Ermoupoli, in 1940. He came to Athens, in 1957. He studied scenography and costume design with professors Vasiliou, Tassos, Plakotaris and Polikandriotis, painting with Yiannis Tsarouchis and sketching with T. Apartis. He has worked as a scenographer in many theaters in Athens. He has presented his work in many personal and group exhibitions, in Greece and abroad.
